So remember that "project" I was always referring to as my 
excuse for not blogging more? Well, the weekend that I had to finish it has passed now--by a couple of weeks. And I forgot that I promised to give a full account of what that elusive project was--a ragtime quilt for my sister's birthday!! Check out the pic. My sewing machine became my "slave machine" as I worked 2-3 hours on the quilt every night for 2 weeks. But I got it done and she loved it!!! :o)

Oh and I should note the help I got from Traci and Teri on snipping the seams and from my mom in washing it. :o)

Wow, that is beautiful. I can see why it had you slaving away. Your sister will treasure it forever.
That quilt is amazing!!! When I start making one (one day) I will be coming to you for advise. :)
