So I’m beginning to think that the Lord is truly intervening on our behalf, because we’ve missed two typhoons that have hit Xiamen on the weekends. There’s the one that severely delayed our return flight from Shanghai. And then there is the one that hit this past weekend while we were in Guilin. It put the entrance to Xiamen University, that we use all the time, under a few feet of water. It also filled up the underground tunnels and washed some hillsides down onto the roads. Holy moly!
